MELT `N YOUR MOUTH BLUEBERRY
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. lightly floured blueberries
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside. Cream shortening with sugar and add well beaten egg yolks. To this add alternating milk (flour, baking powder and salt; mixed and sifted twice). Fold in egg whites, vanilla and last, floured berries. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes in 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle batter lightly with sugar before baking.
