BEANY'S PIZZA CRUST | |
1 cake yeast 1 tsp. fructose 2 tbsp. shortening 6 c. unbleached white flour 1/4 c. lukewarm water 2 tsp. salt 2 c. boiling water Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Add fructose, salt, shortening and boiling water in a large bowl and stir until dissolved. Cool until lukewarm. Add yeast. Add about half of the flour and beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to give a soft dough. Knead on lightly floured board until smooth. Let rise, until doubled in bulk, then divide and pat out into individual pizzas. Oil and partially bake. |
