WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
6 egg whites, beaten until stiff (add last)
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. coconut, red candied cherries and candied pineapple
1 lb. chopped walnuts

Mix dry ingredients, except fruit and nuts. Cream butter and sugar. Combine with the dry ingredients. Add fruit and nuts. Mix. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.

Bake 1 hour at 275°F and 1 hour at 300°F.
