2 lb. catfish, deboned
2 lb. potatoes, sliced
1 lb. bacon
2 lb. onions
1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste

Cook bacon until crisp in a large heavy pot. Remove bacon and set aside. Layer remaining ingredients, beginning with potatoes. Cook at low heat for about 2 hours.
