GLORIFIED RICE 
1/2 c. rice
2 qts. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
2 c. crushed pineapple
10 lg. marshmallows
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 pt. whipped cream

Add rice to boiling water and salt. Cook until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. To the rice, add pineapple, cut up marshmallows and add powdered sugar. Fold in whipped cream. Can substitute 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip. Optional: Chopped nuts and cherries. Refrigerate before serving. Good frozen.
