ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk

Sift together dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to buttermilk. Mix in flour mixture. Roll out until dough is 1/4" thick and dip in melted butter, fold in half. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown. (These do not have to rise and may be refrigerated as long as four days.)
