HEARTY VEGETABLE - BEEF SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
3 c. water
2 med. carrots, sliced
2 med. stalks celery, sliced
1 c. rice
1 med. onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
3 bouillon cubes (beef)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, undrained
1/2 c. ketchup

1. Cook ground beef in Dutch oven, drain.

2. Brown onions. Add other vegetables.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients.

4. heat to boiling, reduce heat.

5. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until veggies are tender.
