BARBARA'S EARLY - RISER'S
CHAMPAGNE PUNCH
 
4 c. cranberry juice cocktail
1 c. water
1/2 or a 6 oz. can (1/3 c.) orange juice concentrate
6 inches stick cinnamon
1 (750 milliliter) bottle champagne, chilled

In a large saucepan combine cranberry juice cocktail, water, orange juice concentrate, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to boiling; boil, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Strain; cover and chill.

Just before serving, pour cranberry mixture into a small punch bowl. Gradually pour the chilled champagne down the side of the bowl, stirring gently with an up and down motion. Makes 18 (1/2 cup) servings.

For fruit studded ice cubes, cut orange slices to fit into the compartments of an ice cube tray. Add a few cranberries to each; fill with water and freeze.
