WHITE CLAM SAUCE 
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. butter
6 crushed garlic cloves
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. basil
3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 bottle clam juice
Dash cayenne pepper
Dash black pepper
1 can baby clams or 1 dozen fresh chopped clams

Combine olive oil, butter, and clam juice in small saucepan. Add garlic, parsley, basil, and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes; add cheese and clams. Simmer another 5 minutes. Serve over linguine.
