SOUTHERN SKILLET CHICKEN CREOLE 
1/3 c. shortening
1 lg. onion
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic
2 c. cooked chicken, cut in large pieces
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. cooked rice

In a large skillet, saute onion, green pepper and mushroom in shortening until they are soft. Add all remaining ingredients except rice, simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
