ALICE'S FROZEN MARGARITA | |
1 1/2 cups good Tequila 1/2 cup Grand Marnier 1/3 to 1/2 (12 oz.) bottle standard American beer (no dark or lite brews) 1 (12 oz.) can frozen limeade (less pulp is best -- can substitute lemonade 1 to 2 limeade cans water juice 1/2 lemon juice 1/2 lime ice, to fill up the blender salt, to coat the rims the glasses sliced limes, for decoration Fill the blender with ice. Add Tequila, Grand Marnier, beer, limeade, water, lemon and lime juice. Blend until the whole thing has turned to slush. Use a slice of lime to moisten the rim of the glasses and dip into salt. Note: You can buy "Margarita" salt, but regular salt without iodine works fine, as does Kosher salt. Pour the Margaritas, decorate with slivers of limes, and enjoy. Submitted by: Alice Shands |
