GINGER SNAPS 
3 c. plain flour
1 c. home made molasses
1/2 c. lard
1 tsp. baking soda
2 heaping tsp. ginger
Hand full of brown sugar

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Chill for several hours or overnight in ice box. Roll out on floured board; cut into desired shapes and designs. Place in greased bread pans. Bake until done.
