RAISIN GINGERSNAP COOKIES | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1 1/2 c. raisins Beat shortening, sugar, and egg together then add molasses. Blend all. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves; add to the above. Mix in raisins. Chill dough for 2 hours; shape dough into small balls and shake in sugar. Bake in lightly greased sheet for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. |
