APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. dried apricots
4 eggs
1 c. light brown sugar, packed firm
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. orange juice
2 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts
Confectioners' sugar

Soak apricots in hot water until soft. Drain well and cut into small pieces. Beat eggs together well. Blend sugars and salt and gradually beat into eggs until light and foamy. Add orange juice.

Sift together flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Fold into egg mixture. Add apricots and nuts, mix briefly. Spread batter into greased 10 x 15 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. When cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and cut into bars.
