BRAISED LETTUCE 
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 lbs. lettuce, shredded
2 sm. onions, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. sweet basil

Combine all of the ingredients together in a skillet over low heat; cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add water only if necessary to avoid browning the mixture too rapidly. Serves 2-3.
