MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1 (7 oz.) can green salsa
Tomato sauce
5 tortillas
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Saute onion until it wilts. Add meat, cook until meat loses red color. Add salt, chili powder and salsa. Cover pan and allow to simmer for a few minutes. In a shallow casserole spread, tortillas, meat mixture, sour cream and cheese in layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until all ingredients are hot and cheese is nicely melted.
