SANTA'S WHISKERS 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream first 4 ingredients together, then add flour, cherries and pecans and stir. When well mixed, form into 2 long rolls. Roll in coconut. Chill overnight. Slice into 1/4 inch cookies. Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees.
