CLARISSA'S MAPLE PECAN PIE 
The maple syrup makes this pie special!

1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups maple syrup
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell (I use Pillsbury)

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cream sugar and butter. Add other ingredients in order, stirring well after each addition.

Bake in an unbaked pie crust at 375°F for 45 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
