ROTINI AND RED CLAM SAUCE 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. minced clams, drain and keep liquid separate
2 c. spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. rotini, uncooked

Saute onions in oil until tender, not brown. Add clams, sauce, 1/4 cup clam liquid, parsley, thyme, basil, salt and pepper, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Cook rotini, drain. Serve clam sauce over rotini. Serves 2 to 4.
