VEGETABLE MEDLEY 
1 can French style green beans, undrained
2 c. celery, cut 1/2 inch diagonal
Lg. jar mushrooms, drained
1 1/2 c. carrots, cut in chunks
1 1/2 c. pearl onions
1/8 to 1/4 bacon bits
3/4 c. green pepper, cut in 1/2 inch strips
1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes, undrained

Mix all above together. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup tapioca. Place in 9 x 13 inch pan, cover. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. (If made a day ahead of time, add the tapioca just before baking.) Serves 6 to 8.
