SWEDISH NUTS 
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
2 c. English walnuts
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1 stick butter

Toast nuts in slow oven at 325 degrees for about 10 or 15 minutes. Fold sugar and salt into egg whites. Fold nuts into meringue. Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan, spread nut mixture over butter. Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes. Stir nuts every 10 minutes.
