CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak (cut into thin strips)
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 green pepper (cut in strips)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tomato (cut in wedges)
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
3 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Brown meat in hot oil. Add salt, green pepper, onion, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger. Cover and cook over low heat (10 minutes).

Combine cornstarch and water, mixing well. Add to meat mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Add tomato. Cover and simmer (10 minutes).
