4 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. chopped peanuts, walnuts or pecans
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. melted butter/oleo
1/2 c. honey or corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients, mix well. Press firmly into well greased cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. Cool thoroughly and cut into bars.
