PEANUT BUTTER CHIP & JELLY BARS | |
1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. butter 1 egg, beaten 3/4 c. grape jelly 1 c. peanut butter chips (Reeses) Combine flour, sugar, baking powder in large bowl with butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Reserve 1/2 of the mixture. Spread and press remaining half of mixture into bottom of greased 9 inch square pan. Spread jelly evenly over mixture in pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup peanut butter chips over jelly. Combine remaining crumb mixture with remaining chips. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes until top is lightly brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. 1 1/2 dozen. |
