CHEESECAKE CHERRY PIE 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour

FILLING:

1 can sour cherries
3 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. red food coloring
1/2 c. sugar

TOPPING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond extract

CRUST: Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add flour; blend well. Press into 9" pie pan.

FILLING: Combine juice from cherries, flour and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. When thick, add cherries and food coloring. Pour into pie pan lined with crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

TOPPING: Cream the cream cheese, sugar, egg and almond extract until thick and creamy. Spread over filling leaving 3" circle in center. Seal topping to outer edge of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
