MICROWAVE CHICKEN TERIYAKI 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. sherry (optional)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lbs. cut-up chicken

Mix together all ingredients except chicken in 8x2 inch pan. Add chicken and coat with sauce; marinate for 30 minutes or overnight. Drain off sauce. Cover with wax paper and microwave on high for 20 to 22 minutes. Halfway through turn chicken over. Makes 4-6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
