PEPPER RELISH 
12 red peppers
12 green peppers
16 small onions
6 or 8 hot, red peppers (optional)
3 c. vinegar
1 box brown sugar
2 c. water
3 tbsp. salt

Grind peppers and onions together. Pour boiling water over it and let it stand for 5 minutes and then drain. Boil vinegar, salt, water and sugar. Add drained relish and heat 20 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
