SKILLET STEAK 
1 lg. round steak (cut into 4 pieces)
1 med. green pepper, sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
1 sm. jar sliced mushrooms

Batter steak and brown in a large skillet using vegetable oil and a pat of butter; brown quickly, do not cook steak done. Remove skillet from heat and place peppers and onions and mushroom slices on top of steaks; cover with water and place a lid on skillet and return to heat and simmer for about 2 hours. Makes its own gravy while simmering.
