BAKED CRANBERRY PUDDING | |
2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 tbsp. melted shortening 2/3 c. milk 1 egg 1/2 lb. (2 c.) raw cranberries Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add shortening, milk and egg. Beat 2 minutes, stir in cranberries. Bake in 9 inch square pan about 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with butter sauce. BUTTER SAUCE: Melt 1/2 cup butter, add 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup light cream or half and half. Mix well, bring to a boil, stir and pour over hot cake. |
