PORK CHOPS AND RICE | |
1 c. rice, uncooked 4 tbsp. water Sliced onions 6-8 pork chops 2 tbsp. drippings from pan 2 cans consomme beef broth Put cup uncooked rice in 9 x 13 inch oblong pan, sprinkle 4 tablespoons water over rice. Fry pork chops to brown, then layer on top of rice then pour drippings over chops. Slice onions, put over chops. Pour the beef consomme over chops, salt and pepper to taste and cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. |
