PORK AND SAUERKRAUT 
3 lbs. pork spare ribs, chops or steaks
1 qt. sauerkraut
Salt and pepper
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten

Cut meat into portions and place in bottom of a roaster. Season to taste and add sauerkraut. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Make dumplings by combing the flour, baking powder, milk, and egg. Drop by spoonfuls on the sauerkraut. Cover pan and finish baking for 30 minutes. About 6 servings.
