BOILED RAISIN DROP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Salt

Boil 2 cups raisin and 1 1/2 cup water. Drain and cool. Use 1 cup water from boiled raisins. Add water if necessary. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet at 375 degrees.
