HOT CHICKEN SALAD 
2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, diced
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (2 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1/2 can) French fried onions, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. mayonnaise
3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Thoroughly mix all ingredients except onions and cheese and put in casserole. Sprinkle with onions. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.
