BONNIE ROGERS SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 lb. yellow squash
1/2 c. onions
1/2 c. mayonnaise
A few thin slices of butter
1 tsp. sugar
1 egg
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Cracker crumbs

Cool cooked squash and drain (blend or mash). Add all ingredients except 1/4 cup of cheese. Pour into oiled casserole, top with cheese and cracker crumbs. Put butter slices on top of cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
