PECAN KISSES 
3 medium sized egg whites
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar, then vanilla while mixing. Fold in nuts. Place on well-greased cookie sheets by spoonfuls. Spread with spoon until flattened.

Bake in 250°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.

Optional cooking method:

Bake at 250°F for 20 minutes. Turn off oven and let Kisses set an additional 20 minutes before removing.
