MOTHER SMITH'S CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 (2 lb.) can La Choy Chop Suey vegetables
1 c. diced onions
1 c. diced carrots
1 c. diced celery
1 c. mushrooms
2 c. bean sprouts
1 pkg. frozen pea pods
Soy sauce
Vinegar or lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce
Cooking oil
Salt and pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Celery seed
Ginger

Brown meat in cooking oil; add vegetables. Cover freely with Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Add seasonings freely. Add 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice.

Simmer about half hour after reaching a quick boil. Add pea pods that have been cooked for 2 minutes. Stir them into the main dish and it is ready to serve.
