MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 cube butter
1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

Boil 2 minutes and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Stir in soda. Mixture will foam up and double volume. Pour over 3 to 4 quarts of popped corn which has been put into a brown grocery bag. Shake bag to coat popcorn. Put bag of coated popcorn into microwave and cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
