REFRIGERATOR SLAW 
3 lb. cabbage
2 bell peppers
2 medium onions
1 small jar sliced pimentos
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar

Shred cabbage. Chop bell pepper and onion. Mix cabbage, bell pepper, onion, pimentos, mustard seed, and salt. Bring water, sugar, and vinegar to a boil. Boil until sugar is dissolved. Cool and pour over vegetable mixture. Store in covered container and refrigerate for 24 hours. Drain before serving.
