MEXICAN STRING BEANS 
1/2 c. minced onions
6 tbsp. salad oil (you may use bacon drippings here)
1 can string beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (or ketchup)
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
Pepper

Cook onion in salad oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly, tossing frequently with fork.
