3 c. applesauce
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
4 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 c. vegetable oil or melted shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. walnuts

Mix all ingredients together and pour batter into a greased and floured tube cake pan or bundt cake pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
