EASIER THAN PIE CAKE | |
1 yellow cake mix 3 eggs 1 pt. whipping cream, unwhipped 6 c. uncooked rhubarb 2 c. sugar Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour in standard size cake pan. Throw cut up rhubarb over cake mix, sugar on top of rhubarb. Pour whipping cream over all and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve warm or cold. Canned pie fruit may also be used - 2 cans, omit the sugar. Other fresh fruit is also good, add sugar. The whipping cream becomes very custard like and nummy. |
