TAVERN BARBEQUED BEEF TIPS 
2 lbs. stew beef
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 tbsp. catsup
Cooking oil
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Brown beef in small amount of cooking oil. Remove to baking dish. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over beef. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Serve with rice. Serves 4 to 6.
