BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
2 3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Pinch salt
4 lg. eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Sift flour and soda together. Cream Crisco and sugar well. Add eggs. Turn mixer to high and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in a greased and floured pan.
