BUTTERMILK POUND CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Add nuts if desired

Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Beat good adding dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees.
