MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
1 c. fine bread crumbs
3/4 c. bran
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tsp. powdered garlic
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix ingredients together; moisten well with as much milk as needed for a soft mixture. Put mixture into an ungreased loaf pan; dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
