SCALLOP CASSEROLE WITH
MOZZARELLA
 
1 lb. scallops
Seasoned bread crumbs
Shredded Mozzarella (4 oz.)
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Salt
Pepper
2 tbsp. sherry wine

Coat scallops with seasoned bread crumbs. Grease casserole dish. Put a layer of scallops on the bottom of the pan, and add cream sauce and some Mozzarella. Top with another layer of scallops, cream sauce, and cheese. If any sauce is left just pour it into the casserole dish and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Bake uncovered for another 15 minutes until cheese browns a little.

CREAM SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Salt
Pepper
2 tbsp. sherry

Melt butter and add flour, milk, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper and wine to taste.
