TERIYAKI BEEF APPETIZERS 
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. cracked ginger-root
1 1/2 lbs. round steak

Combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger-root. Cut steak into 1/2-inch cubes; add soy sauce mixture. Let marinate overnight. Remove meat and cook quickly on Hibachi or in stir-fry pan. Serve on toothpicks.

Makes 6-8 servings.
