YUM - YUM DESSERT | |
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate bits 1 pkg. (12 oz.) butterscotch bits 2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1/4 c. vanilla pudding, reg. 1 c. butter 1 or 2 tsp. vanilla 2 lb. bag powdered sugar Salted peanuts (opt.) Heat chocolate and butterscotch bits until melted, stir in peanut butter. Mix well. Put half of this mixture in a jelly roll pan, spread evenly. Chill. In saucepan (preferably a non-stick) put evaporated milk, regular vanilla pudding and butter, stirring constantly. Boil this for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, stir. Add powdered sugar gradually until well mixed. Spread this mixture on top of mixture in pan. Chill. If using nuts, stir into remaining half of peanut butter mixture. Keep warm so will be easy to spread when other is chilled. Then spread over all. Chill. Cut into 1 inch squares. |
