2 c. brown sugar
1 c. (sm.) lard
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 c. water
1 c. raisins, floured
1 c. cold coffee
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake in cookie sheet with sides. Cut in squares while warm. Frost with any desired frosting.
