PINEAPPLE POUND CAKE 
1 c. shortening
1 c. butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. all purpose flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
Pineapple Glaze

Combine shortening, butter, sugar, and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and vanilla, beating well after each addition. Stir in pineapple. Pour batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool 15 minutes in pan. Invert onto serving plate. Pour glaze.

PINEAPPLE GLAZE:

1/4 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained

Combine butter and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Stir in pineapple. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
